Random Early Morning Ramblings

Another week gone by. Sheesh. Anyway, I think it's an open secret now that very, very soon, my adventures in the good ol' Aussieland of Perth will be coming to an end. Yup. You read right; this accounts for the car sales and the room rentals (which I haven't publicised), all tying in with the Epiphany post below. I'd like to explain more, but it's 630am at the moment so I'm not going to be typing very much right now; I just thought I'd log in and say something to show that I haven't forgotten my blog, heh! Just been packing up and trying to sort stuff out, and this Friday will be having the first of hopefully a few goodbye-for-now parties, so.... hopefully it'll be fun, although I know it'll be bittersweet. Okay, I'm gonna head off to bed now (just as everyone's getting up); long day ahead with visits to supervisors and friends and colleagues, with phone calls to make and blah blah blah blah so I'll bid thee adieu and will write more when I'm motivated to do so... :)

PS - Have decided to get rid of that bloody annoying Tag-Board on the right in the sidebar because of the bloody annoying popups that accompanied it. So please click on the 'Weh!' option to leave message or comments, kay? I'll look about for a better replacement. Perhaps someone could suggest something...?

Happy Belated Easter!

Whoohoo, has it been more than a week since my last update? Time does fly. Last weekend was really good - twas the Easter weekend, and we had a nice barbeque at our cozy little Dean Road home. A comfortable, intimate crowd comprising Judi, Justin, Carol, Adam, Josie, Brett and myself from about 1230pm...and it went on - filled with grilled fish, marinated chicken wings, salads, steaks and chocolate galore, interspersed with hilarious rounds of Pictionary - for about 12 hours: Chris and Jade, Jerolina and Steve joining us after evening service for more food and drink and games, and leaving only at about 1230am. A really good day. Lots of laughs and lots, lots, lots more chocolate eggs!! We're all chocolated-out now. Meanwhile, you should see some of the Pictionary sketches that we came up with during the game - downright riotous they are! I'll scan some of 'em in for your viewing amusement later. In the meantime, I'm gonna make this a short blog entry for now... time for dinner! And oh, the car below is still for sale. I've reduced it to $2,500 now. Any takers?? ~N

Quick Link

As of yesterday, I've officially completed the website for Follow the Light, with full photo galleries and live recordings of the songs. This would be my final update of the site (for the 2005 production of the show, at least), so I hope you'll pay it a visit and check out the stuff that's available.

Please check it out at http://followthelight2005.tripod.com.

That's the end of it until the next incarnation, which I certainly hope will happen sometime in the not-so-distant future. After all, Christmas comes once a year. :) ~N

Condolences

Found out last weekend that my dear friend T's mom has just passed away, back home in Malaysia. Very sad; she was a lovely woman - quiet and gentle - who always welcomed me into her home when I visited, and I'm sad that she's moved on. Right now my heart goes out to T and his family; here's praying they find peace and joy in this difficult time. God bless. xox ~N
